Year of the Priest Conclusion
The Year of the Priest will conclude on June 11th, 2010, the Feast of the Sacred Heart. Pope Benedict had designated this year, which started on June 19th, 2009,
as the Year of the Priest, “in order to encourage the striving for spiritual perfection of priests, on which, above all, the effectiveness of their ministry depends.”
 
We wish to commemorate this year, which included:
Fr. Kusi’s 25th anniversary of ordination (Dec 1, 2009)
Fr. Ken’s 20th anniversary of ordination (June 9, 2010)
The entrance of Ryan Delaney into the seminary (Fall 2009)

We will celebrate on
Wednesday, June 9th, 2010
beginning with our 5 p.m. Mass.
Dinner from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Holy Hour in the church, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The Holy Hour will include:
Vespers (evening prayer),
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament,
and Benediction.
 
Please pray for our priests that they might always be faithful to their sacred calling.
